The same would apply in our interaction with any animal.

When we stop and take a look at ourselves – as human beings – where are we now?
Only from knowing where we are now can we acknowledge who we are both collectively, and as an individual human being. As a human being we have been born into; cultural conditioning, educational systems that don’t always educate, and religious beleifs that have been handed down from one generation to the other – with our ancestors having little, if any freedom, to seek truths beyond what they were told. How have these things left the human psyche and individual soul of the human being feeling?
Only by been ‘open’ can we begin to draw on an intelligence that is held in each of us and step forward to become all we can be. Our animal friends already know who we are. There is a beautiful Native American Indian story that talks about the time all of creation sat around a fire. But one day man left and did not return. All the animals waited and waited and waited. Eventually certain animals were sent to bring man back to the fire, back home. The story continues to state that the horse will be the one to lead us back home and this is known as ‘The Way of The Horse’ and there is a medicine wheel description of this. For this reason, and from personal experience, many things I talk about on this weblog will be related to, but not limited to, horses.
We get in our own way to listening to this call back home because of long held beleifs. It is time we stopped listening to everything we are told and look beyond to a wisdom that has always been there and is held in our hearts. So, to help us to look at some of the things we have been told, sometimes for hundreds of years – and to take a pre-view of where we could possibly be heading – I recommend you take a look at the following movie which is available to you free on:

We are living in times of change. An extract from the end of the Zeitgeist movie states:
‘The essence in you and the essence in me is one – it is not seperate. A new consciousness is developing that sees the Earth as a single organism. An organism at war with itself is doomed. We have a choice between fear and love’.
Your animal friend’s are pure beings of creation that our cultural conditioning, educational systems and religeous beleifs can-not touch. They remain connected to the source of all-things and patiently wait for us to evolve. When we drop our pre-conceptions, and open our hearts, we take a step forward to connecting with our animal friends at a conscious level – and in so doing; touch universal truths.

ANIMAL HEALING WEBLOG
I came aross WordPress today and discovered a fantastic way to share real life experiences we have with our animal friends. I have owned animal’s all my life and there have been many times, but a few in-particular, that I should have listened to an animal friend rather than what I was been told, but at the time I didn’t. Why did I do that?
I am sure there are others that, like me, found a situation when they didn’t quite know for sure, but had they have know how to listen, or should I say understand what they were feeling, they may have made a very different decision – with a very different outcome.
It is my aim, with animal healing weblog, that we can learn to trust our instinct. That we can learn to ‘feel’ the truth, and leave doubt behind. When we love beyond fear we are in our own power. Love and fear are manifestations of the same energy; love is positive – creating balance and harmony, fear is negative – creating anything but. By realigning with nature and walking on the path of the shaman we find hidden truths, that weren’t really hidden at all, only forgotten.
There is a beautiful Native American Indian quote here I would like to share with you at the beginning of this journey;
‘In the beginning of all-things, wisdom and knowledge were with the animals for the One Above did not speak directly to man. Certain animals were sent to show us that he showed himself through the beasts and that from them, and the stars, and the sun, and the moon, should man learn… All Things tell of the Great Spirit’. Lets walk together in balance and harmony with our animal friend’s, and witness the passing of each glorious sun – together.
